Creating a fashion icon for the UK Prom Dress market
Our long term customers, Cornwall based designer fashion store Cargo Clothing , approached us during the summer of 2010 to set about a complete redesign of their website and branding style.
Cargo retails high fashion from designer labels such as Lipsy, Sherri Hill, Aqua and Pia Michi and specialises in evening wear, ball gowns and prom dresses. Over recent years the company has developed from a local high street outlet to a major online retailer, now selling worldwide and recognised as the market leader in the UK for the growing Prom market.
ITOK were challenged with representing this brands fashion standards. We created a website with a glossy magazine feel, featuring some stunning model photography and easy to navigate menus. We improved search functionality of the site including search filtering options. We wrote our own shopping cart, creating a secure, robust and pleasurable shopping experience.
Aside from the core website we created a sales site with it’s own brand tweak, dedicated to discount design clothing, named Cargo Outlet. We have backed the website with an email marketing strategy to their existing and new customer base and have designed magazine adverts and leaflets to aid promotion.
